Verdict

An interesting contest for the money and LORD RAGLAN might just be able to defy a 5lb rise for his Chester win to follow-up. The Noverre gelding showed a good attitude that day and won't mind any more rain, while his front-running style will suit this track. Money for Flipping would make him very interesing after his latest slip in the weights, as he sees out this trip well and is another who won't mind some juice. Mason Hindmarsh has frame claims but lacks toe at the finish, while Redcar winner Hail Bold Chief will find today more competitive from 5lbs higher. A repeat of the Newbury run by Finest Reserve would entitle him to be the leading danger to our pick Lord Raglan.
