Verdict

The three-year-old Harpist is progressing nicely though an 8lb rise for beating horses of her own age at Galway makes this difficult. Kanes Pass has been given a break since scoring at Gowran in May and rarely runs on anything but soft ground. He'd have an obvious chance if the rains arrive and Cash Or Casualty is also better with plenty of give as he demonstrated at Listowel last time. FOOTPRINT wasn't far behind in that latter race and didn't get the best of runs. He would also prefer slightly easier going but looks ready to win again and is handed the vote. Jembatt and Foot Perfect fought out a close finish here earlier this month but the winner has been beaten twice subsequently which has devalued the form.
