Verdict

Lord Ofthe Shadows has yet to finish out of the frame and sets the standard here on his neck second to stablemate Coup De Ville in a Listed contest over C&D last month, though he lacks the scope of some of these. Farhaan won easily on his second start at Newmarket and is on an upward curve but KINGLET's defeat of Most Approved on his debut at HQ was franked, in no uncertain terms, when the runner-up won by five lengths next time. The Godolphin colt is entered in the Beresford Stakes at the Curragh later this month and can advertise his credentials here. Mister Music and Norse Gold have a bit to find but Daghash should improve on his debut sixth and it's interesting to see Andrew Balding starting the stoutly-bred Stature off at a fairly lofty level.
