Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A terrific conditions event and we will side with Oasis Wind, Carleton and Berbice look to be the best alternatives. The selection beat a decent enough type in Bellomi when losing his maiden tag in August. he has progressed since and ran ablinder to finish just four lengths behind Dream eater in the St Leger sales race. A repeat of that effort could be good enough this afternoon. Carleton finished just two lengths behind the selection at Doncaster and boosted the form with an excellent run behind Captain Gerrard at Ayr. Today's terms favour Oasis WInd and he should again have the measure of the Channon runner. Berbice has come up against a class act in Dark Angel on his last two runs and he appears to be still on the upgrade. Meanwhile Aide Memoir cannot be easily discounted having gone well in three group races and May Day Queen's Lingfield win has worked out well. So as you can see it is a race full of juvenile talent and Oasis Queen may just come out on top.
