Verdict

Burrumbeet and Cliffs Of Capri are having a first run on Turf. Hakeem won on Fibresand on his reappearance but is unexposed and did make a winning debut on Turf at Yarmouth last year. Fastar ended the last campaign in fine form and Frankie is on board as he bids for a hat-trick while Mountain Angel bolted up in an apprentice handicap at ascot earlier this month, though is 9lb higher now. Chevallier is a consistent sort on Turf and Polytrack while Windsor Beach beat Frank Bridge at Ripon, though is 6lb worse off. Kynren was badly drawn in the Spring Mile at Doncaster in March so his effort was particularly noteworthy. He’s got an outside berth again here but shouldn’t be far away if Ben Curtis can find him some cover. CHIEFOFCHIEFS rarely runs a bad race and is back on a winning mark. Granted luck in-running, he could be a bit of value in an open-looking finale.
