Fisher Bridge, Veiled Applause and Burgundy are the three to focus on here, with Fisher Bridge taken to come out on top. Veiled Applause is a consistent type and gained reward for three near misses when scoring at Windsor two outings ago. He ran well to be fifth in the Carlisle Bell and handles cut in the ground and looks set to go close. Burgundy is another who always runs his race, with some good placed efforts to his credit recently. He has failed to score in eight attempts this year though, and the overall balance of his form seems to be lower than his rivals so he is opposed. Fisher Bridge is by far the most inexperienced runner in the field, but he has shown ability in all his three starts to date, chasing home a useful type at Pontefract a fortnight ago. He has to concede weight here, but has a lot of potential and was well supported last time. Fisher Bridge can retrieve those losses here.
