Jayanjay, Blue Aura and Don Pele are on the shortlist here, with Jayanjay the selection and taken to follow up a win last time. A winner at Windsor in August last year, Blue Aura has not won since, but shaped encouragingly last time, finishing a close third in a decent Warwick handicap. He is racing off a pound lower mark than when last successful and a bold show is anticipated. Don Pele ran well in defeat at Ascot last time, finishing third behind a couple of useful types. He has the speed for this minimum trip, and had a good winter on the all-weather, with a success at Wolverhampton to his credit. He is saddled with top weight here, but looks set to go close. Jayanjay ended a winless run stretching back almost two years with a decisive win at Brighton last time. He had crashed down the weights before that win, and has a six pound penalty to carry here, but it may not be enough to stop Jayanjay scoring again.
