Verdict

Coole Dodger may be able to land this race from Rankayo Hitam and The Hoofer. The selection has been in good form in handicap company and he has decent claims at the weights in this contest. It's a slight concern that he was well held at this track three runs ago but that was a much better race than this one and Coole Dodger gets the vote. Rankayo Hitam's two wins have coincided with the application of headgear so it's a little surprising that connections have opted to leave the blinkers off today. He has leading claims if he can run up to his best without the headgear but there must be doubts about him doing so. The Hoofer has any amount to find on official ratings but she battled on gamely to win her first race at Leicester and she may be able to build on that this afternoon and make a mockery of her lowly mark but the percentage call is to side with Coole Dodger.
