It's difficult to get away from the chances of FUNKY MUNKY, who followed a heavy-ground victory on the Flat at Ayr with success over 2m1f here a fortnight ago. Alistair Whillans' charge has a 9lb rise to contend with but his rider's claim will help and he can go in again as the longer trip will suit. Turbolinas hasn't shown much over timber after landing a bumper on the track though he's starting out in handicaps from a very lowly mark. Miss Abbey is a similar type though she's more exposed but Almutaham is just 2lb higher than for his only hurdles success at Kelso in May and has generally competed at a higher level.
