      Verdict

Pikarnia is slipping towards a more feasible mark and Multipede may do better now going handicapping but the latter’s stablemate Ange Des Malberaux needs to recapture the form he showed when winning here last September. Lochalsh should be able to figure in a race like this and Alys Rock beat Nicki's Nipper over a shorter trip here in January. CALARULES ran a shocker here last time but had been getting closer prior to that so gets another chance as though Turtle Cask has won over track and trip off a higher mark he really needs much softer going.
