In depth

Verdict

Ted Bach is still 8lb higher than his only victory at Roscommon a year ago despite moderate subsequent form but CIANKYLE (NAP), a winner on that track in June, finished a good third behind Like A Diamond on a return visit and the winner could give the form a boost in the previous race. Arctic Light returned after a break to run well at Clonmel in May though still looks a bit high in the weights as does Boris Grishenko on his handicap debut after just three maiden runs. Jessamine has only won on the all-weather but has shown enough ability to get involved here.
