    Verdict

Our Choice looks to have the best chance at the weights here and is our choice to see off this field, in which Back To The Wind and Southburgh are others with chances. The selection finished behind Back To The Wind a couple of starts ago but now has a 7lb pull for less than three lengths. Cheek pieces are applied here by trainer Charlie Mann and the gelding looks capable of reversing that form and landing this prize. Southburgh won a seller at Market Rasen in April and was not far away in a novices¿ handicap at Stratford last time. Christine Dunnett¿s gelding has not been helped by a 2lb rise for that run, but conditions will suit and he should be thereabouts. El Coto put in a pleasing hurldes debut at Cartmel last time and can build on that here. He won off marks in the 80s on the level, so he is no mug and a win wouldn¿t be a huge shock. Pride Of Mine sees the rare occurrence of trainer John Jenkins and jockey Graham Lee teaming up, and the mare makes her debut over timber here. She has shown some promise and also a penchant for decent ground in her bumpers and she can build on that form here, though Our Choice is exactly that.
