In depth

Verdict

Several in-form chasers contest a decent handicap with the vote going to ROYAL VILLAGE (NAP), who only dead-heated at Market Rasen but showed a willing attitude and has the scope to defy a 4lb rise. Bestwork came right back to form when beating a previous winner at Worcester and Charlie Longsdon also runs easy Uttoxeter winner Aunty Ann. The Fresh Prince won last time at Plumpton but usually struggles off this higher mark. Seefood would need to recapture his best form and Pawn Star has a lengthy absence to overcome. Altiepix is hard to catch right nowadays.
