In depth

Verdict

LAUGHING LUIS is penalised for winning at Worcester last week but scored by six lengths and Nicky Henderson’s charge can go in again. Liz's Dream failed to cope under a penalty at Warwick having made a winning start at Fontwell last summer while Avast Ye was still beaten a long way when third at Worcester on her debut but should finish closer today. Essgee Nics was going well at Newton Abbot on his introduction when swerving at the crossing in the closing stages and unseating his rider.
