In depth

Verdict

Hermanus remains in good form but has another 5lb rise to contend with as he bids for a hat-trick. Boychick was far from disgraced in his first run in a handicap at Newton Abbot while Macksville is another with scope for further improvement. LEAPT made mistakes when beaten in a ladies’ race at Market Rasen last month but winning rider Kielan Woods is back on board here and the four-year-old can recoup losses. Light Of Air and High Wells have both been in good form on the Flat while Inniscastle Lad has had plenty of opportunities. Scotsbrook Night also struggles to get his head in front.
