Verdict

Howwrongcanyoube and Vrombel have shown glimpses of ability on their sole outings and may well improve for the experience for high-profile yards. Hannah Just Hannah and Lilywhite Gesture have also made the frame in bumper company which brings them into calculations whilst Sam Twiston-Davies is an interesting booking for Gin And Tonic, a rare runner in this category for Michael Wigham. Keep an eye on him in the market as fancied stable runners are usually strongly punted on the level. However, this may go the way of a newcomer. THE HON MACKINLAY represents the Channon yard that has produced an outstanding 50 per cent strike rate in these contests in recent seasons and he may offer more value that Caracci Apache, the representative of Nicky Henderson who boasts a record second to none in bumpers.
