Verdict

Few make much appeal in a dire opener. Cahill was placed a couple of times in the autumn and won on the all-weather in October. He's only a four-year-old so it's too soon to write him off and he looks the main danger to LITTLE JAMES. This looks on the sharp side for the ex-pointer but he also drops into a seller for the first time having finished fourth at Leicester in February. Warrant Officer finished second twice at Plumpton before Christmas but has reverted to type since and Drummond is equally exposed.
