In depth

Verdict

Great Choice was third over course and distance in February and looks to be on the upgrade but MORITO DU BERLAIS shaped with plenty of promise in a better race at Chepstow in December on his hurdling debut and is just preferred. Max Ward also has his sights lowered but more interesting is Solar Sky. A useful stayer on the Flat, he ran well for a long way on his hurdles bow over 2m at Kempton and seems sure to be suited be today's longer trip. Absolutely Bygones has hinted at ability but may do better in handicaps.
