In depth

Verdict

Kempton winner One For The Guv'Nr almost defied a penalty at Lingfield subsequently and will probably start favourite here on that evidence with Nico de Boinville taking off 3lb. Murrayana ran a bit better than the final result indicates at Kempton but the mare Mystical Flame is likely to need more time judged on her run at Chepstow. The Outlaw and Dry Ol'Party are newcomers representing powerful yards but SIR IVAN is more interesting. Harry Fry's four-year-old is by leading NH sire Midnight legend and his stable have a good record here with their bumper horses.
