Mick Easterby’s Arrowtown found some form in the autumn, winning over this trip at Pontefract before only going down by a short-head over 2m at York. If fully wound-up, he shouldn’t be far away again. TUFF ROCK wasn’t beaten far when attracting market support in the Rosebery at Kempton on his reappearance. This is a further step up in trip but he handles soft ground and he may just strip fitter today. Zafayan had some useful form in Ireland and will be all the better for his first run for Peter Niven at Lingfield. Al Destoor has plenty of form on soft ground and is starting to slip towards a decent mark while Mister Belvedere returned from his winter break with a fine second on Tapeta. Jabbaar has been in good form at Southwell but Archippos has more to do than when scoring at Doncaster and Dance King may be a couple of pounds too high on his return.
