led, headed over 2f out, ridden, stayed on same pace final furlong
towards rear, never dangerous
tracked leader, effort over 2f out, ridden, no extra final furlong
dwelt, soon prominent, led over 2f out, kept on final furlong
in touch, ridden over 1f out, not quicken, stayed on same pace
settled in rear, effort over 2f out, never near to challenge
Moyanna has been found a fairly simple opportunity to record her first win, and she gets a confident vote here, with Snooty Romance and Muqarrar best of the rest. David Barron's filly has been in reasonably good form in handicaps lately, and was not beaten far in what was a competitive race at Redcar last Friday. She faces less stiff company this afternoon and can gain a first success. The rest look decidedly moderate on what they have shown so far. Snooty Romance's recent Yarmouth sixth was hardly spectacular form but she has to enter calculations in this company, while Muqarrar is entitled to improve on his debut at Beverley, when he finished eighth in a stronger event than this. But Moyanna's form is pretty solid and it would be a surprise if she failed to land the spoils here.
