Learning The Blues is taken to land the opener at the expense of Sharajan and Palmers Peak. The selection broke his maiden tag at Uttoxeter last March and has been lightly raced ever since. He was good enough to win with a penalty and caught the eye when third to Nikols on his seasonal reappearence at Leicester last month. With that run uder his belt he should improve to score again. Sharajan will pose as the biggest danger and has some solid form to his name. He was good enough to land a novice event at Lingfield in December and has run well in defeat in two races since. He was third in a big field at Chepstow on his latest run behind Stop The Glow and if repeating that form he has to have a live chance. Palmers Peak has the odd bit of form under rules this winter. He finished third of eight at Kempton last month but was exposed at Cheltenham last time out and is only worth noting as an each way possiblity at a decent price. So for the winner we return to Learning The Blues.
