A real puzzle to get this six race card underway where the market always proves useful in pointing punters towards those likely to be involved at the business end. Paul Cole has his string in sparkling form of late and his filly Meydan Groove is related to former winning juveniles. Support for Meydan Groove should be taken on board and a stall 8 draw gives Richard Quinn plenty of options. Jockey bookings suggest Daddy's Gift is Richard Hannons' number one hope here while Gay Kelleways' Beat Seven shaped with real promise at Newmarket two weeks ago in what appeared a decent contest. A colt with lots of scope, he travelled well for much of the journey and while he is likely to be more effective over six, the experience should stand to him here. Shane Kelly makes his return aboard Mount Ella and is another, who if trimmed in the market, can be expected to be in the shake up. Beat Seven with that Newmarket debut under his belt gets the nomination.
