Ex-pointers Grimley Girl, Niki Royal, Vinnieslittle Lamb and Vintage Vixon all have to go on the short-list in this, the latter having been well backed for her debut under Rules in a Warwick bumper in November. Splendid Blue was second in a bumper here on Boxing Day and MISS MAYFAIR also has placed form in that sphere. Admittedly, she finished last on the Polytrack at Kempton last week but that race featured some nice prospects and the switch to hurdles should benefit Lawney Hill's stoutly-bred mare. The remainder have little to recommend them.
