In depth

Verdict

Gorgehous Lliege has another try over 3m after a couple of decent runs over shorter here recently. He's still at the right end of the handicap while Monty's Revenge won a three-runner race over course and distance on Boxing Day but was subsequently behind Bally Sands over hurdles at Uttoxeter and was also well beaten by BISHOPHILL JACK over 2m6f here earlier. Kim Bailey's charge didn't stay 3m5f in the Lincolnshire National last month and was pulled up but had looked progressive prior to that run and is given another chance. Catterick winner Noble Witness, Musical Wedge and Sentimentaljourney are others to consider while Jolly Boys Outing has a good record here but Red Mile has been a big disappointment and is now visored.
