Shouband has been looking a bit one-paced though is generally thereabouts and this is his level so it will be a surprise if he's not competitive. MIDSOMMARKRANSEN made a promising start in a Thurles bumper in November and was in the front rank for much of the way on his hurdling debut at Galway last month so with progress virtually guaranteed he'll take some beating here. Victoryrowe's close third to Childrens List over the track and trip was a very good effort but he hasn't run as well in two subsequent starts.
