In depth

Verdict

Quinte Du Chatelet has become disappointing and stable companion Shoegazer returns from a lay-off, as does the hat-trick-seeking Native Gallery. Bar De Ligne let supporters down at Newcastle last time but did beat CROSS OF HONOUR at Market Rasen earlier, though the latter is better off at the weights today. He also flattened the second-last when upsides the winner in that race and can take his revenge today and land this for Charlie Longsdon as he improved again to beat Doncaster winner Ebanour at Musselburgh. The latter's trainer, Donald McCain, saddles Bunclody here while Gores Island has a decent level of form over timber and his recent defeat came in a jumpers' bumper on the Polytrack. Fairyhouse winner Dooney Rock and the consistent Harry Hunt may be best of the rest ahead of Wincanton runner-up Volador.
