Verdict

Glens Boy gained a deserved success at Newbury last time having been denied certain victory at Warwick previously when hampered by a loose horse. Henrietta Knight's lightly-raced gelding is 9lb higher today but should still go close. MISTER HYDE has had a chequered career over fences to date and has twice failed to complete. However, he got a race over 2m4f here in December on the disqualification of narrow winner Court Victory and could just be re-ignited by a return visit to the track. Lackamon may struggle under his big weight while Carpincho made mistakes when unplaced at Cheltenham last time, but Bruslini has to go on the short-list after making a winning start over fences at Catterick and Victoria Rose won a mares' race over C&D in January.
