Verdict

There's a bumper field for the bumper finale, and with so many newcomers in the field, a close look at the market is advised. But we'll tentatively go with All Three Fables, a decent third on debut in a similar contest here in May, ahead of Minella Boys and Major Blizzard. All Three Fables looked to have something about him first time out, and is Seamus Durack's only scheduled ride of the day and won't be making the trip just for a ride out. Minella Boys is one of two runners from the in-form Tim Walford stable, but is preferred to Forge Valley. It's nearly 2 years since he saw a track, but if fit and ready could return to winning ways. Major Blizzard, a debutant for Oliver Sherwood could be an interesting runner if supported, but a nominal selection is All Three fables.
