In depth

Verdict

MICK MAESTRO and Mr Dorrell Sage both showed improved form to score last time and there's very little between the pair here. However, it's the former who receives the vote as he pulled hard before scoring at Uttoxeter this month and is therefore marked up accordingly. He handles the ground well and hopefully will prove more amenable to restraint with that experience behind him. The Sherwood inmate, his main danger, battled on gamely to score last time and is an obvious threat, but the rest of the field have yet to achieve anything of real note. Nevertheless, it would be reasonable to anticipate improvement from the likes of Bubble O'Clock, Finley's Eyes and Telegraph Place - all of whom are well worth a market note.
