In depth

Verdict

Fine Theatre won under Kevin Brogan over course and distance last month when CROSSHUE BOY was only fifth. His rider’s claim is again a positive and the nine-year-old could go close to following up but the latter is better off at the weights and may well reverse the form on this quicker surface – he is well treated on his chase form. Speaker Connolly has been chasing but won over the smaller obstacles here last year and Ask Nile is another who mind the switch back to hurdles. Ozzie's Way never seems to run a bad race and Darver Star is another worth considering along with the novice Epswell.
