In depth

Verdict

No Trimmings turned a Dundalk handicap on Sunday into a procession so it's hardly surprising he's been hit with a 12lb rise and even regular pilot Colin Keane's claim doesn't look enough for his mount to complete the double. Extra Steps also won at Dundalk and, though 6lb higher, has been running well and looks set to go close again. It took a while for the pebble to drop with Aragorn Icon but a recent double suggests he's very much on the upgrade and he's only 4lb higher than for his latest success at Killarney. It wasn't the strongest of maidens that HADRIAN'S WALTZ won over the C&D last month but she was always travelling nicely and can complete a double off what looks a realistic mark. The front-running Jouster is still a maiden but has produced some really good efforts and is by no means out of this.
