In depth

Verdict

An inconsistent sort last season, KINGS LODGE looked more the finished article on his return to action at Fontwell. He scored by six lengths eased down on that occasion and a 9lb rise may not prevent him following up. Polisky has claims on his best form though he's yet to win over fences while Compton Blue should figure once again after a second at Southwell. Cinevator failed to cope upped in class last time and Silver Commander makes more appeal despite returning a disappointing favourite at Exeter on his return. Coole River and Midnight Oscar are others with claims if at their best.
