Verdict

MAXI CHOP was pulled-up over these obstacles when last at the track but that may have come too soon after a placed effort at Taunton. He's taken to return a stronger animal and is just preferred to Chemistry Master. The latter won a maiden hurdle over track and trip in March and has a conditional's 10lb allowance helping his cause on his reappearance. Ludlow winner Beside The Fire is likely to be winning again this season but this is a big step up in class for Theatrelands, raised 8lb for his recent Towcester success. Looking Hopeful went backwards after going close at Plumpton last year but is not easily dismissed on his return.
