Verdict

In the finale, Perfect Courtesy is selected ahead of Rock Anthem and Leptis Magna. On his first run for Alan Swinbank - and since a gelding operation - Perfect Courtesy ran a very good race to finish second at Nottingham on his seasonal return. Normal improvement alone should see him in the shake-up today. World Spirit won well over a mile when last seen and is an improver so cannot be ruled out. Rock Anthem will be all the better for his Epsom return, while Leptis Magna has to be given some thought stepping up in trip today. Kashmir Lady was short of room at Lingfield last time and has better to come, while Spice Bar is probably beginning handicapping life on a fair mark and Ask Yer Dad ran well enough at Nottingham last time to be given some thought, the same comment applying to April Fool, who made late headway at Leicester last time. The selection, though, is Perfect Courtesy.
