      Verdict

      Super Julius has won Class 5 handicaps at Wolverhampton and Brighton but this represents a big step-up in grade from 3lb higher. Spring Loaded drops the other way having been racing exclusively in Class 2 company. His best form is on the all-weather but he's 13lb lower on Turf so has to be a threat. DARK SHOT has been running well at a higher level and the return to the minimum is in his favour. He won in this grade at Ascot and his short-head defeat by Caspian Prince in the Epsom Dash was given a massive boost when the winner won a Group 2 at the Curragh on Saturday. He's won here in the past and can do so again though the other course and distance winner in the line-up, Stepper Point, is always capable of a big run in this sort of class.
