Verdict

Some top trainers represented here and we will take a chance on Brian Meehan's Bravemore, Battledress and Cordage look the obvious dangers. It looked quite a decent maiden that Bravemore ran in last time. It was on the first day of the new turf campaign, when he finished runner up to The Geezer. His previous all-weather form was also of a high standard and he looks then one to beat here. Battledress is trained by Marcus Tregoning, who has done very well with his runners throughout the winter. This son of In The Wings contested some decent maidens last season and could go close on his Wolverhampton debut. Cordage looked in need of the outing when a well beaten third to Takhmin at Pontefract last week, we should see abetter performance this afternoon. The rest make very little appeal so it appears to be a three horse race with Bravemore the pick of the trio.
