Verdict

Miss Bounty is a triple winner in Germany but she hasn't looked like winning in three starts since switching to George Baker. Cheek-pieces are tried and if back to her best could provide an alternative option at the bottom of the weights. Perfect Friend is at the opposite end and considering her three wins have come when hold-up tactics have been employed she will appreciate the jockey on board, but she prefers the turf. Just Timmy Marcus seemed to enjoy the trip last time and dropping back to seven furlongs isn't sure to be beneficial, but there is a lot to like about Towy Boy. He is in good form of late and seeks a hat-trick but up 7lb in the ratings and an increase in trip is enough to temper enthusiasm. Instead we turn to FITZ who looks competitive off this mark and has been performing well over this distance at Kempton. Although his trainer doesn't have a plethora of winners, he has a solid chance here and Fitz gets the vote.
