        Verdict

        A competitive handicap with six C&D winners in the field. The latest of those was Snow Dancer who scored here on her latest start when heading Thunderstruck on the line. The latter is weighted to reverse the form but had the run of the race and third-placed LOYALTY could take revenge on both. The latter won here in December and judged by his recent efforts off a higher mark, Derek Shaw's four-year-old is still improving. Danderek looks a shade high in the handicap now, but Kidlat has every chance of making the frame.
