ROBIN THE RAVEN takes a while to warm up so a drop in distance may not suit and he does now carry a double penalty. But he’s clearly useful so is taken to complete the hat-trick even though Horseshoe Bay, useful on the Flat, made a winning start over timber here last month and should have more to offer. The extra half-mile shouldn’t be a problem for the latter but he has 7lb extra. Rio Bravo showed promise last season while there should be more to come from Tynecastle Park and Cloth Cap. Treackle Tart had a good first season over hurdles, winning a novices’ handicap at Exeter, but she also carries a penalty and hasn’t raced since April.
