Spanish Squeeze was supported into favouritism on reappearance in a quality handicap at the Dante meeting but was never competitive and better is expected as he's only had six starts in three seasons and should have more to offer. Ralph Beckett's string is in tremendous form at present and Niceofyoutotellme has descended to a more workable mark and could be a major player but if NEW YEAR'S NIGHT is ready for this first run in over a year he could prove too strong. He looked most progressive in the first half of 2015 and runners from this yard are frequently untroubled by an absence from the track.
