Verdict

IGUACU is given the vote to follow up from his recent Nottingham success with both Lord Theo and Magnitude acting as the main dangers. The selection is six pounds higher in the ratings for his latest effort but still looks well treated. He is still relatively only lightly raced for a five year old and it is possible that he is still improving. If he can reproduce his recent form he will be difficult to oppose. Lord Theo was good enough to win off a mark of 78 two years ago. Since then he has fallen down the weights and he caught the eye when finishing second behind King Columbo at Newmarket on his penultimate outing but he looked a little exposed off a five pound higher mark at Newbury last time out so he should be treated with some caution. Magnitude ran better than expected when tried in first time cheek pieces at Newmarket last time out. He looks fairly treated and for that reason he warrants respect, however for the winner we return to Iguacu.
