      Verdict

      Nothing rates a stand-out in a tricky heat where all can be given a reasonable chance. Newbury third Courtside and bottom weight Slow To Hand make some appeal and are preferred in that order but KHARBETATION is taken to defy top weight for the O'Meara team. The Dream Ahead gelding is running well and has been left on an unchanged mark for his last two runner-up efforts. He's a solid operator at this level and can gain due reward for his consistency here. Oh It's Saucepot has found life a little tougher off this term's marks but remains respected and Stormingin can never be excluded from calculations as his form figures demonstrate, although he hasn't seen the winner's circle since the autumn of 2016.
