      Verdict

Just one short of the 16 runners which would at least have given punters something to chew on in this low-grade contest. The local Dunnett yard fire a double salvo via Percy Toplis and Agent Of Fortune, both of whom have landed course victories on recent starts and the latter is preferred of the pair after his solid run at Chelmsford since his twin here. Topology has been exclusively campaigned on artificial surfaces this year but is a leading contender if transferring that ability to Turf but TOPMEUP gets the vote. The Mayson filly, who sports first-time blinkers, can usually can be relied upon to run her race and handles ground with soft in the description. Master Poet is another possible with Eternal Destiny and Safrani a couple of unexposed sorts to keep an eye on.
