Lucky Lover can win this handicap at the expense of Orpen Wide and Guildenstern. The selection is running off the same all weather mark he acheived while winning two races at Southwell and although a return to the turf does not guarantee him success he did win off sixty eight last year at Nottingham so it should not pose as a problem. Orpen Wide caught the eye when second to the selection Lucky Lover at Southwell and then ran a blinder to finish third of twenty three in a competitive handicap at Haydock last time out so has to be given respect. As does Guildenstern who looked a little outclassed at Ascot on his latest outing and is better judged on his second at Yarmouth over seven furlongs prior to that. A question mark has to highlighted about the fact that he steps up in trip so much and for that reason we will return to Lucky Lover as the likely winner.
