In depth

Verdict

Viva Ronaldo made a pleasing impression on his debut and he can land this event at the main expense of Bees River and Thunderous Mood. The selection chased home Rebecca De Winter on his debut at Chester, and he finished a little way clear of the rest of the field that day. He showed plenty of speed that day and with that experience under his belt and conditions to suit here he should take all the beating. Bees River showed promise on her debut at Doncaster, and she is another that can go well. Thunderous Mood could be of more interest though as connections think he is quite useful and he will have learnt plenty from his debut at Newmarket when he finished third behind Saucy Brown. Secret City is the only newcomer in the field so he is one to note in the market on his racecourse bow. However, it will take a good one to beat Viva Ronaldo who gets the pick
