Leinster prop Cian Healy has been cited for allegedly striking Toulon's Guilhem Guirado with his knee during Sunday's European Champions Cup clash

Leinster prop Cian Healy has been cited for allegedly striking a Toulon player with his knee during Sunday's 24-9 defeat in the European Champions Cup.

Healy was sin-binned during the first half of Sunday's loss to the reigning three-time European champions after an incident involving Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado.

The 28-year-old faces a disciplinary hearing in Paris on Thursday and could receive a minimum three-week ban if the act is deemed deliberate.

The news comes as a blow for a Leinster team that have lost all three games in the competition so far.
