Sam Jones of Wasps and Elliott Stooke of London Irish will appear before an RFU disciplinary panel on Wednesday evening after both players were cited.

Stooke has been charged with playing an opponent without the ball, contrary to law 10.4(f), while Jones has been charged with punching or striking, contrary to law 10.4(a).

The incidents occurred in the second half of last weekend's Aviva Premiership match between Wasps and London Irish, which was won 38-12 by Wasps.

The hearings will be held in London at 7pm and be heard by a panel chaired by Jeremy Summers and including Becky Essex and Martyn Wood.
