Australia captain Stephen Moore is preparing for a step up in class when the Wallabies take on Ireland in Dublin, on Saturday.
Australia have recorded wins over Wales, Scotland and France during this year's tour of Europe, but face what Moore believes is their toughest test of the autumn this weekend against a much-improved Ireland.
Joe Schmidt's side made history in November by recording their first win over New Zealand, in Chicago.
The world champions gained revenge with a 21-9 win in Dublin last weekend but Moore, who has Irish parents and spent part of his childhood in Galway, is expecting a tough test in Leinster on Saturday.
"We always knew these games would be the biggest of the tour," Moore said ahead of Australia's two remaining autumn internationals against Ireland and England.
"When you get to this stage it's a big challenge for our young boys to front up and confront the Irish.
"The way they played over the last month - they are playing as well as they have for a while.
"Even though they lost to the All Blacks last weekend their consistency was there. We will have to play our best game so far."
Michael Cheika's side have shown signs of improvement this autumn after suffering a 3-0 whitewash defeat at home to England last summer.
Australia have the chance to gain revenge next month when they face England at Twickenham on December 3, live on Sky Sports.
However, Moore believes Australia will be made to pay against Ireland if they consider Saturday's match as merely a warm-up for the England encounter.
"If we started thinking about England firstly we would come up short, and secondly it would be disrespectful to Ireland," he said.
