The 27-year-old created two tries against the Springboks and he made a total of four line breaks across the autumn internationals, beating nine defenders as he made 81 metres from 15 carries. His precise box-kicking and slick passing also caught the eye as he nailed down the No 9 jersey.

Last weekend's victory against Australia saw England equal their national record of 14 successive wins set in 2003, with 13 of those coming under head coach Eddie Jones.
